Some Ruff Competition Flyball Team
Volker Triebe aka "High Voltage"
Volker came to his first flyball tournament in 2001 and knew that this was the adrenalin rush that he and his young active Border Collie "Ceilidh" were seeking. Ceilidh was a dog looking for an 'outlet' and the Triebe family was looking for a dog, a match made in doggy heaven. Alumni Nicole Madden brought them out to practice and as they say "the rest is history". V likes to run and keeps both Ceilidh and Djace in condition by putting many km's on their paws. Our multi tasker, running either dog in any position in the lineup, boxloading, line coaching or being our "floor manager". He's also been known to run an occasional retriever or two if the call goes out. This galloping gourmet ensures that we eat well whenever we have access to the BBQ. Thanks to Volker, Susan has learned that kraft slices aren't real cheese and that zucchini is tasty with eggs. Volker has also encouraged his family, Joanne, Jennifer and Megan to join us from time to time at Ontario events. Don Quixote has nothing on this guy!
