Emma Kate Hamilton
Emma has been involved with dogs and dog training all of her short life. She has her border collie, Salsa to keep watch over her, Jack Russells to keep her amused, Beardies to keep her warm and Mabel to keep her busy - what more could a little girl ask for?
Her ball shagging abilities are great, and her cheering antics in the end-zone can be quite amusing. When asked which dog she wants to run she replies "Whinny, because she won't pull me", but we think she's holding out to handle "Salsa" when both of them are a little bit older!
Emma has been lucky enough to borrow "Skip" from Cheryl Lewis from time to time to run on a Veterans Team. She has also been honing her handling skills at practice and recent tournaments with Whinny.
She's has her sights on "Wikked" and was busy putting in lots of training time after school doing recalls and boxwork with one of our newest athletes.
Emma debuted as our start dog handler in Brampton this past April running "Wikked" . . . she managed to stay on two feet when Wikked returned for her tug!
