Jaimie Short
What goes around comes around . . .
Glenn and Emily met Jaimie 'a few years ago' when she was competing in Junior Handling (she was top Junior Handler in Central Ontario in 1999 and won the class at the 2001 BCCA National Specialty). Back then she was 'dabbling' in sheep herding as well with her Beardie. Over the years their paths crossed in the Beardie Conformation Ring, on BDL and through some mutual Beardie owned acquaintances.
A request to the Flyball List went out from someone looking for a team to take on her two Beardies and train them in the sport of Flyball.
Well . . . how could we resist?
Jaimie is a student at the University of Guelph and has served as the Orientation Coordinator, Central Student Association . She's looking forward to graduation, a vacation in Wales and becoming the owner of a car with less Miles on the horn!
Did we mention that Jaimie is an expert at 'Playing Chicken with the Train'? . . . just ask Mabel :)
