We have Niki and Bumper to thank for bringing Debbie and her Border Collie "Zoey" out to practice one Thursday evening!
We're all very proud of Debbie's efforts in the 2006 and 2007 Toronto Weekend to End Breast Cancer walk. Do you think that all the running at flyball practice helped?
Debbie is a valuable asset to our flyball family . . .at tournaments she'll take on whatever task is asked of her with gusto and she even brings the family along to help with the setup and teardown!
At our 2007 SharkFEBst Deb handled a dog in a race for the first time in her career. Darby is not the easiest dog to handle as those of you who have seen Glenn with the "Darbeast" over the years can attest to. Nonetheless, Deb looked like she and Darby have been a team for many seasons. (it must be that East York connection!)
Debbie's "Zoey" debuted in March 2007 and as predicted she was much less of a drain on Deb's shoulders than Darby was :)
